Question:
Do you have happen to have their URL or telephone number?? Thanks – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – them at all. I know of a few on the west coast but not any that can spike my interest. If you know of some good cym growers please let me know. Thanks Have you tried Rod McClellan in the San Francisco Bay Area? I know they do a mail order business. I live near them and think they have too many cymbidiums!
In our climate, cymbidiums are almost impossible to kill. They just sit outside all year, spike, and bloom in late winter/early spring. — To reply, remove ".out".

Hi Rob! I have found this to be true as well… Check out the Quizlet that loads first on the http://www.dwave.net/~andrewj/ocloset/ site and it will affirm what you have found to be true. While not a "scientific" poll, it clearly shows that cyms are not the fav among orchid growers…er.. the growers that voted (gotta get it right… LOL). I DO hope you find more that you love… Perhaps it’s time for you to go into the species. Some of those are quite awesome. I think you are wrong Barbara, I could not down load the quislet on the site you mentioned so I could not see the results of the poll. If Cymbidiums do not head the list then the poll must have been rigged, although it is possible that it is because us Cym lovers are shy and will not enter polls. But then of course I am biased. Ted.

Rob, I think you are going to find that most if not all of the commercial Cymbidium growers are on the west coast. The climate is just right for them and they have huge farms that grow them by the "jillions", mostly for cut flowers. Ken Roberts Have you ever felt like you cant have something you want?
