In writing the plant’s name, Dendrobium is capitalized. Abbreviation is Den. The name Banana Royal does not take any quotes. Den. Banana Royal is a Den. canaliculatum hybrid. It wants warmth, fairly high humidity, and full sun. It should be outdoors all summer, watered daily with good fertilizing. In the winter, let it dry out between waterings. It can be potted in the same mix you would use for paphs or small orchids, but in a clay pot.
