Nooo… Nothing special. Since I don’t know what to believe about this food or that food, I’ll do 20-20-20 one week, Dyna-Grow bloom another, Norman’s Orchids mix another… I figure the plants are smarter than I am, and will take what they need. I think it’s just California beach climate… Gentle and temperate, not too hot, not terribly cold. Alot of trial and error. But I’m really excited about how the vandadeous orchids have done this year… My conditions are barely marginal… but there they go! Don’t believe everything you read in the books! — http://members.tripod.com/rlfox

That is GORGEOUS! Where do you live? Grow outside or in a greenhouse? I love Paphs, especially parvisepalums , but have had only modest successes and none yet with a parvi. So I’d love to learn where you grew this beauty. Roberta How is this for a first bloom seedling that just opened. It is Paph Fumi’s Delight (Paph micranthum X Paph armeniacum). Way too kewl! I’m sure it’s just lovely. Wish you would post pictures by using a link to a web site so we all could see it. At the very end of its blooming. Phal. bellina – this baby just blooms on and on and on…’course, I am certainly not complaining…what a lovely fragrance!!! Cym. I was given a RHV. Blue Lightning (RHY.Coelestis XV. Coerulea)-blue that was on it’s last leg at work. I have brought the little guy back and he now has a nice green 1 inch long root. I’ve never seen this one in bloom, and am having a hard time with searches
sounds like it’s gonna be blue! <G I’ve got a hybrid with R. coelestis in it–that has dainty dark blue flowers (fragrant) in an upright "foxtail" grouping. it blooms every three months. be interesting to find out what yours looks like when it blooms… Alynne No matter how little rain, no matter how few people admire the garden, or the gardener, if we tend to the roses, the blossoms will come.–Chris deVinck
