Fertilizers defined, part II

Question:

says… "Well since my first fertilizer post I am reminded of a maxim that my father used to quote:    "Every action has an equal and opposite criticism."" I was thinking of the one that says "No good deed goes unpunished". Don’t let it bother you – you learned something in the writing and some readers learned something in the reading. What more need you ask?

- Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Well since my first fertilizer post I am reminded of a maxim that my father used to quote:     "Every action has an equal and opposite criticism." My intent here was to inform, to take my years of education and professional experience and share this information on what I know to be true. I was trying to be general enough so that the average person can understand these principles, yet convey enough detail to be practical. Much of what I have written seems to be taken out of context, or I have overlooked some flaws in what I have written. I am not a chemist, I am not a commercial grower, and I am not an "expert." I am a generalist in a specialized world, I have a green thumb, and I am good at growing orchids and roses. That’s all…         But the result has been lots of emails detailing small errors, or chemistry lessons, or god knows, debates about water quality and pH factors. I had written more articles to post here, but in reviewing them I see that they would just stir more debate and draw more criticism about the details. So I give up. I just do not have the time to do the research and editing required. Its not like I am making a profit at this or something. My mistake for stepping in fertilizer I guess… Regards, Scott Campbell, CA

I enjoyed your post! Just remember opinions are like dirty socks, everybody has them. Joann
