Gift for Mother a Orchid Grower

Question:

I live in Florida and my mother lives in Texas. I want to give her something for X-Mas having to do with what she loves. (her orchids) She seems to have everything, and she even volunteers at the local botanical gardens once a week. So she has access to alot. Anyone have any ideas? Please be creative. X-Mas seems so far away, but, I’m going home and want to do something special for her……

dear lm143: an orchid friend of mine gave me the following for my birthday (which, btw, is right before xmas): a bunch of rand aircone pots, some fertilizer, a nice cutting blade, a pair of clippers, a bunch of pot hangers, a pack of personalized labels  (they say "assana’s orchids" on them…cute), a bag of sphagnum moss, and some more stuff, including a small australian Dend in bloom from his own collection. they might not sound very "gifty", but they were very useful, and I enjoyed them more than all other gifts I received. but then that’s me!
