Phal's not blooming
Question:
Have a lady slipper that’s blooming which I bought last Feb. but my Phalenopsis are not. Could they bloom when it warms up outside and the sun is warmer? They have had the same treatment as the Slipper. Was great to find this b. board as a novice searcher and orchid grower (?). Thanks. Ken

Phalaenopsis CAN bloom just about any time, but winter is the usual, after receiving a moderate chill for a while in the fall to initiate spiking. How large are the plants? — Ray Barkalow – First Rays Orchids On-line List and Order Form: http://www.firstrays.com
